As the AmeriCorps Artist in Residence I taught an after school arts program for grades K-4, in Baltimore,MD. Created a social justice based curriculum, focusing on the Center’s goals of cultural enrichment and conflict resolution skills-building, we created art with recycled with found objects in various mediums. 78 students participated and a summer-long exhibition was held at Mica Place.
